Mark Merrell
"I grew up in the church, but put my faith in Christ as a senior in high school. That decision took root in college, as I began to learn what following Christ truly looked like. The decision to follow Christ has shaped every major area of my life, from the choice of a spouse to my career path.
I love to serve Christ in the ordinary things, like loving my wife selflessly and discipling my children faithfully. I also love to use the resources and talents God has given me to help communicate the gospel in a clear way to help people follow Christ more intimately."
Mark has a political science degree from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from The University of Chicago. He is a partner in the law firm McFarland PLLC.
Mark is married to Allison and has three daughters, Brooklyn, Drew and Addison, and one son, Mason. In his spare time, Mark loves watching and talking volleyball with his wife or watching the Texas Aggies play on a crisp fall afternoon. He also enjoys long runs on early mornings.
